=====The Orpheum=====


Once the heart of the [[east_end|East End]], the Orpheum was a venue for legitimate theater, travelling opera companies, and the occasional vaudeville performance.   It was undergoing renovations until recently, when the work crews started suffering a high rate of injuries and absenteeism.  There is much finger-pointing between the theater owner (Silas Linden) and [[gotham_underwriters|Gotham Underwriters]], which insured the project.
