=====Our heroes, Team C of the Project=====

Each of the team has been recruited by the mysterious [[mr._cheavers|Mr. Cheavers]] who has intervened to save each one's life, freedom or sanity.  They have been summoned to a broken down abandoned block in the [[crime_alley|Crime Alley]] district of Gotham City in early January, 1934 for orientation.  

The block's shabby exterior is a false front hiding the sophisticated [[Team C Headquarters|Team C Headquarters]] from prying eyes.  Inside are various vehicles, weaponry and other equipment for the team.  It is also provided with a staff (initially):  
  * [[Pierre|Pierre]]---the quartermaster
  * [[Gorak|Gorak]]--the janitor
  * [[Eugene|Eugene]]---the cook
  * [[scraps|Mr. Scraps]]--the dog
