Ranson Brewster has a large trust fund, which weathered the stock market crash  nicely as it was not leveraged and was largely invested in rental property.  He parents have passed away, so he does precisely what he wants, which is primarily going to the best clubs and the swellest parties.  He tried getting a job once, but it didn't agree with him and he went and had a lie down. He's handsome, slightly humorous, if occasionally thick about serious matters.  He's much in demand in the social calendar and is constantly featured in the society pages.

During working hours, he's likely to be found having a drink at [[the_falcon_club|The Falcon Club]] or (in the summer) bashing the old ball at[[bristol_country_club|The Bristol Country Club]].  At night, he 'll be where the action is.
