Alma Teasdale (nee Baker) is a wealthy widow, holding a hereditary partnership seat in [[baker_and_lee|The Baker and Lee Law Firm]].  She derives a substantial income from the firm, doing little actual work (not being a lawyer), but also has considerable property inherited both from her father Barton Baker II and her late husband Rodney Teasdale, a successful importer.

Mrs. Teasdale is a pleasant middle aged woman, but a real stiff, easily horrified by shenanigans.  She stages elaborate parties and much of the social season in Gotham circles around her.
