Tall, thin and red-faced, Feckworth was an accountant before being made [[police_commissioner|commissioner]] of the [[police|Gotham City police department]].  It seems that the chief qualifications were shutting up and doing what the [[mayor_buckhouse|mayor]] says.  Feckworth's favorite response to difficult questions is "I'll get right back to you when my research is complete."  He lives in a truly opulent house in [[gotham proper|Gotham Proper]] and constantly bitches about having to commute all the way to [[old gotham|Old Gotham]].
