Current president of the [[garment_workers_union|Garment Workers Union]], Franklin is scrupulously honest and is devoted to improving the lives of his members.  He has, however, become paranoid and suspicious of all strangers, after the attempt by the [[communists|Communists]] and [[falcone_family|Falcone Family]] to eliminate him and take over the union.   He is grateful to [[tony_farms--the_puma_man|Tony Farms--The Puma Man]] for saving his life during the incidents.
