Bitter, hot-tempered, and mean, Dale Richards is president of the  [[richards_fashions|Richards Fashions]] company, a bulk producer of low-cost clothing.   He was grievously angered by the Communist and Mafia attempts to take over the fashion districts, and still blames the [[garment_workers_union|Garment Workers Union]] for the incursions, and for most of his ongoing troubles.
