**THE REGION:**  Map 1, "Thranconia and the Valley" is made up of 3 political units:  The [[Dukedom of Thranconia|Dukedom of Thranconia]], the eastern section of the [[Principality of Algart|Principality of Algart]] (both of which are part of THE REALM) and a wilderness section consisting of the central valley between the Ostkrag and Veskrag mountains.   This central valley was once a part of the Realm called The [[Dukedom of Great Vale|Dukedom of Great Vale]], but it was destroyed a few centuries ago and now is mostly wilderness.
